Conflicting family opinions can often challenge feelings of romantic love. That’s certainly the case for the two protagonists in the upcoming romantic comedy, ‘Love Is Thicker Than Water.’ The clash between the lead characters and their families can be fully examined when the movie is released on VOD next Tuesday, November 28, and then on DVD on December 12 by Cleopatra Entertainment. In honor of the film’s distribution, Shockya is premiering an exclusive clip, which is titled ‘Family Dinner.’

The modern day Romeo and Juliet tale was directed by Emily Harris and Ate De Jong, the latter of whom also wrote the script. ‘Love Is Thicker Than Water’ stars Lydia Wilson (‘Star Trek: Beyond’ and ‘About Time’) and Johnny Flynn (Netflix’s ‘Lovesick’), who play the star-crossed lovers, Vida and Arthur. The comedy also features Ellie Kendrick, Jessica Gunning and Juliet Stevenson.
